Quincy Ann Kelley passed into the arms of her heavenly Father on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at Arbor House Memory Care in Waco, Texas. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 1:00pm at Grace Gardens Chapel, 8220 Woodway Dr., Woodway TX, 76712.

Quincy was born on January 28, 1930, in the town of Pecos, Reeves County, TX to John Quincy and Dora A. Adams. She attended schools in Toyah and Pecos, Texas. She was a member of the Christian church in Toyah.

Quincy married Jack Brock Kelley on September 5,1954 in Toyah, Texas. He worked as a telegrapher for the Texas & Pacific Railroad. She owned and operated a café situated on old US Highway 80 (now I-20) in Toyah for many years. When Jack was transferred for his job, they moved to El Paso for several years where she managed the K-Mart Deli and Customer Service Desk. Jack’s job took them to Fort Worth and finally to Big Spring, TX. Upon his retirement in 1996, they moved to Highland Haven, TX on Lake LBJ to enjoy lake life. Quincy served as Secretary of the HH homeowners social committee. She enjoyed painting, gardening, and dancing with Jack!

After Jack’s passing, Quincy moved to Hewitt in 2006. She attended Grace Church of Hewitt. In March of 2017, Quincy moved to Arbor House Assisted Living where she spent her final years with staff who became beloved friends as well as caregivers.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Jack in 2001; her parents John Quincy and Dora A. Adams; her sister and brother-in-law Dora M. and L.D. Boxley; niece AnitaBoxley and great-nephew Justin Boxley.

She is survived by her daughter Patricia (Jim) Combs of Floresville, TX; sons John (Karen) Kelley of Arlington, TX & Terry (Jenny) Kelley of Hubbard, TX; Grandsons Michael (Lindsay)Kelley of Chico, CA; Jason Kelley of Waco, TX and granddaughter Rebecca Strawn of Arlington, TX; great-grandchildren JaclynnKelley of Chico, CA; Daphne Strawn of Arlington, TX; Lexi Trail and Roy Smith of Amarillo, TX and Kenzie and Kindle Kelley of Waco, TX; nephew David (Debbie) Boxley of New Braunfels and niece Carol McCarrick of Kerrville, TX; Great nephews Brent (Jessica) Boxley of Pflugerville, TX and Josh (Kim) Boxley of Leander, TX as well as several great, great-nephews and nieces.

The family would like to express special thanks to Arbor House care staff for their love and care for our mom during her residence there. We also thank Enhabit Hospice staff for their excellent and thoughtful care during Quincy’s last years and to the Bailey/Hoeffner/Wolfe Life Group of First Baptist Church of Woodway for their donation of Gideon Bibles in Quincy’s name.
