Richard "Scott" Crawford, born on December 9, 1980, in Lubbock, Texas, passed away on November 27, 2025, in Waco, Texas. A beloved brother, Scott was known for his outgoing, loving, and free-spirited personality. He had an innate ability to nurture those around him, often taking the time to uplift and inspire his friends and family.

Scott graduated from Levelland High School, where his charismatic nature shone brightly amongst his peers. Following his education, he pursued a career as a local truck driver and most recently found fulfillment in his role as a salesman at Blackland Ag, where he continued to spread joy and camaraderie to all who crossed his path.

A motorcycle enthusiast, Scott cherished every moment spent outdoors, particularly the time he dedicated to his friends and animals. He had a special bond with each of his pets, finding happiness in their companionship. His nurturing spirit extended not only to his hobbies but to all aspects of life, leaving a lasting impression on those who knew him.

In a remarkable act of selflessness, Scott made the decision to give the gift of life in the face of tragedy, becoming a successful organ donor as well as providing tissue and bones. This profound act of generosity reflects the essence of who he was — a caring individual who always sought to help others.

Scott is survived by his sisters, Tracy Crawford and Kristy Crawford; his brother, Joseph Crawford; children, Makayla and Cassidy; and numerous extended family members, including cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. His legacy lives on through them, as well as through the many animals he loved and cared for throughout his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Linda Crawford, whose love and guidance shaped the remarkable person he became. Scott's vibrant spirit and kind heart will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know and love him.
