Biography

Richard Leland, 62, of McGregor, passed away June 19 in White Flint Park at Belton Lake. Graveside services will be held Friday, June 22 at 2:00 p.m. at McGregor Cemetery.

Richard was born November 7, 1949, in Sanford, Maine.

Richard owned and operated a home repair service in McGregor for 22 years which allowed him to fulfill his desire to help people. He was an avid lover and hunter of fossils, and fishing was a great distraction. Richard served his country in the Army for 2 years, most of which was served in Vietnam.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Deborah; his children Chris and Melanie, and Patrick and Erin ; grandchildren Daniel, Vivianne, and Bethany; one brother, Robert Leland; and extended family members Pat and Richard, Robert and Nancy, and Mike and Kathy, and their kids.
