Ricky Leaner Snow March 3, 1960 – September 15, 2025
Ricky Leaner Snow was born on March 3, 1960, in Fresno, California, to Clyde Richard Snow and Mary Louise Tidwell Snow.
A devoted Christian and faithful member of St. John’s Missionary Baptist Church, Ricky lived his life guided by his favorite scripture, Proverbs 3:5–7:“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil.”
From a young age, Ricky developed a passion for music, fast cars and motorcycles. While attending school in Fresno, he expressed his love for music by playing saxophone in his junior high and high school bands. He later performed with Bill Bixler’s band at the Wild Blue Yonder. Beyond music, Ricky found great joy in driving his convertible Mustang and embracing the freedom of the open road on his motorcycle.Ricky furthered his education by earning an Associate’s Degree in Electronic Engineering and, later in life, a Real Estate Certification.
He is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Ameenah “Judy” Ross Snow; his son, Ricky Snow II (Caley); and his cherished grandchildren, Christian, Aria, and Evan.. He is also survived by his father, Clyde Richard Snow; and his siblings: Clyde Richard “Dickey” Snow, Rev. Toni Nelson (Winston), Broderick Gene McDaniels (Mildred), Jada Snow, Kelle Snow Jones (Robert), Kim Snow and George Philips. Ricky also treasured the special relationships he shared with his many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Louise Snow, sisters Betty Ann and Beverly Snow Forrest (James) and brother Patrick Snow.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered prayers, love, and support during this time.
