It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Robert “Rob” Bryan Dubois, a vibrant light born on January 2, 1984, in Arlington, Texas. Rob met his savior, Jesus, face to face on October 26, 2025, leaving behind countless cherished memories and an enduring legacy on all who had the privilege to know him.

Rob’s journey through life was one of passion, faith, purpose and fun. As a worship and teaching pastor at Top Hand Cowboy Church, his music illuminated hearts through his soulful songs and heartfelt messages. Rob was a prolific songwriter and incredibly gifted musician, singer and worship leader. He loved to preach and to read—finding joy in both the study and the teaching of God’s Word. With every note he played and every sermon he gave, Rob invited others into a deeper connection with Jesus through faith, hope, and love.

Rob was a proud graduate of Arlington High School and the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, where he met the love of his life, Brittany. Together, they built a marriage rooted in devotion, laughter, and faith. Rob cherished his wife beyond measure, putting her and their family at the heart of everything he did. He led his family well as the protector and provider.

Rob and Britt have two children, Rylee Grace and Ryder Caleb, who he adored. He delighted in their laughter, dreams, and gifts. His love for them was unwavering and intentional. They both inherited so many of their daddy’s gifts and his legacy of kindness, faithfulness, generosity, laughter and love will continue to shine through their lives.

Rob’s parents, Rob and Rhonda Dubois, instilled in him the values of hard work, humility, and compassion. He fiercely loved them and his three younger sisters Rochelle Roper and husband Rusty; Rebecca Castillo and husband Jon; and Reagan Pena and husband Willy. Rob was loved deeply by his surviving grandparents Bob and Geri Dubois’ and a multitude of nieces, nephews, and cousins—each touched by his laughter, love, and faith. He also cherished the close relationship he had with his father- and mother-in-law, Billy and Theresa Edwards. Rob was welcomed into eternity with Jesus by his beloved grandparents, Jeraldine and Francis “Sonny” Pride, who surely rejoiced to see him home. Though we mourn Rob’s passing, we also celebrate the extraordinary life he lived and the countless lives he touched.

Known for his larger-than-life personality, Rob was the life of the party—a delightful blend of extroverted introvert with a contagious laugh. He loved deeply and lived fully, finding joy in the company of family and friends. Whether sharing a laugh around the table, cowboyin’, grilling for people he loved or just being horseback, Rob’s zest for life was unmistakable. He could just as easily be found savoring a perfectly grilled medium-rare ribeye as he could be seen sharing the Gospel through his intricately designed tattoos—a true testament to his creative spirit and his desire to connect with others wherever they were. Rob was a man of his word and a man of honor. He was an unbelievably hard worker and deeply respected by all who knew him.

A memorial service to honor Rob’s life will be held at First Baptist Church Woodway in Woodway, Texas, on November 3, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Friends and family are invited to gather and honor God by celebrating the life of a man who unapologetically lived for Jesus.

The family would love letters from you with stories of the way Rob impacted you or made you laugh. There will be a place to leave those letters as well as a time of receiving following the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to the Cactus Rose Equine Foundation, a cause very dear to Rob’s heart; www.crequine.org.

You can find much of Rob's music on his YouTube page: Rob Dubois Music.

As we remember Robert Bryan Dubois, let us hold close the joy he brought into this world, the lessons he imparted, and the love that will continue to make a powerful impact. The echoes of his laughter, the warmth of his spirit, his unwavering faith and the impact of his music and messages will forever resonate in the hearts of those blessed to have known him.
