Rosemarie (Ottenbacher) Bradley

Rosemarie Frida Bradley was born September 26,  in Sabrecken Germany, the daughter of the late Adolf and Frida Emm (Herrmann) Ottenbacher. Rose continued her studies in Germany and became a dental hygienist.

During William Lester Bradley’s, of Henrietta, North Carolina,  tour of duty with the United States Army in Germany, he met the love of his life and later married Rosemarie.  For a short period of time they lived in Germany before moving back to the United States.  They moved to Killeen where William finished his career with the Army at Fort Hood, Texas.    After which time, they move to Hewitt, Texas where they remained.

Rose enjoyed cooking and baking German food.  She enjoyed shopping and working out at the Sue Wellness Guetrman Center.  Rose’s final year was spent at the Arbors Assisted Living Center in Waco.  There she made many friends and loved the staff members who dearly cared for her.  She also never forgot her longtime friend, Elly Smallwood of Hewitt and Margie Green of Hewitt.

Also preceding her in death was her husband, William L. Bradley; a sister, Elfie McKiteran and a brother, Petter Ottenbracher.

Survivors include Rose’s four children Billy Ray Bradley of Dallas, Daughter Patricia Ann Thompson of Lakeland, Son Michael Bradley and wife Christine of Waco, daughter Myra Bradley-Austin and husband Lance of Fayetteville, ARK.  She also  is survived by seven grandchildren, Courtney Tompson, Morgan Tompson-Schutte, Brooke Pecorino, Jonathan Bradley, Joshua Bradley, Lindsey Bradley, Nathan Rodriquez; fourteen great grandchildren, Owen McDow, Gunner Bradley, Wyatt Bradley, Harper Rodriquez, Cruz Rodriquez, Brady Garza, Paisley Garza, Taylor Austin, Emily Austin, Colton Austin, Bradley Tompson, Gabriel Thompson, Ty Tissnolthtos and Chase Schutte, all of whom she adored.   She is also survived by a sister, Marion Ottenbacher-Fenner of Sabrachen Germany.

The family extends their special thanks to the staff at the Arbors House and Providence Hospice for their excellent and devoted care of Rosemarie.
