Samuel Jude Nelson was called by name to the Lord on September 20th, 2026, and is in the presence of God with all of the angels. He will be held in the arms of Jesus and his Pepaw until we see him in Heaven.

Samuel's devastated parents, whose hearts ache to be in his presence, are his proud father, Koy Nelson, and his loving mother Kaitlyn Nelson. Samuel has two loving and protective brothers, Hazen J. Nelson and Cooper J. Nelson, who will be forever missing their little brother.

Samuel's surviving grandparents are Kamlin Cooper, Kashawna Nelson, and Larry Nelson who will love and cherish his name forever.

Samuel leaves behind a host of extended family members, including aunts, uncles, cousins, and great-grandparents, who all look forward to loving on him in another life.

Although Samuel was lost in the womb, he was never touched by fear.  He was never cold, never hungry, and never alone. Most importantly, he always knew love in life, and now in death. He may not be by our side, but oh, how deeply he is within our soul. Our arms ache to hold you, our eyes long to see you, our ears crave to hear you. Having you for six months will forever be cherished in our hearts, but losing you for a lifetime will be the hardest thing we will go through, but you are in the arms of Jesus.

We will never waver from the Lord, for when our eyes close for the last time, our first sight in Heaven will be you.
