Sergio Sotelo Camacho

Sergio Sotelo Camacho, known affectionately as Huicho, passed away in Waco, Texas, after a brief illness on March 27. He was born in Tampico, Mexico, on August 2, 1963. Sergio was a dedicated individual whose career in construction exemplified his strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.

Throughout his life, Sergio found joy in the simple pleasures. He delighted in watching futbol and cherished his moments with a cup of coffee. More recently, he developed a newfound appreciation for Dutch Bros, sparked by his daughter Brenda. An unabashed foodie, Sergio took great pleasure in savoring meals, especially relishing the taste of a good burger.

Family held a special place in Sergio's heart. His visits to Mexico to reconnect with loved ones were treasured experiences that brought him immense happiness. Sergio leaves behind a legacy of hard work and love for his family.

Sergio is survived by his wife Diana Sotelo; his children Monica Sotelo, Michael Sotelo, Brenda Morales and her wife Geralda, Diego Perales and his wife Valerie, and Jimena Sotelo; as well as seven adoring grandchildren.

The visitation service to honor and celebrate the life of Sergio will be held at Grace Gardens Funeral Home & Cremation in Woodway, Texas. The event will take place on March 29th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Sergio Sotelo Camacho will always be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his work, love for family, and the kindness he extended to all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
