He leaves behind a son and daughter, Thomas Clay and Mia Clay, his grandon Robert Clay, his mother Sally Gaskamp and father Herbie Clay, a sister and brother, Shawndra Rutledge and Shane Clay as well as many cousins. aunts, uncles, and in-laws.

He was an avid fisherman. loves hunting. gardening. and candle making. He was an avid builder/mechanic and enjoyed cooking for friends and family. In lieu of flowers, a donation memorial may be made at Grace Gardens in person or by phone.
