Grace Suzanne Sadosky, known to her family and friends as Sue, passed away October 3, 2022, in Waco, Texas surrounded by her loved ones. A casual celebration of life will be held at 6pm on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at Grace Gardens Funeral Home Chapel.
Sue was born June 26, 1937, in Mission, Kansas to Dorothy Sue Cummins and Paul Dudley Strahm. The family soon moved to Columbus, Ohio where Sue spent the majority of her childhood and where she graduated from Bexley High School. After graduation, Sue attended The Ohio University where she received a BS in Journalism. While there Sue met and married Lenard Sadosky with whom she would have six children.
Sue and her family spent several years moving around before settling in Waco, Texas in 1978 where she lived for the remainder of her life. Sue dedicated herself to a career of teaching for over 50 years. During this time, she was passionately dedicated to her ESL students. In 2006, Sue received the Adult Education Teacher of the Year Award from the Texas Association for Literacy and Adult Education.
She loved playing bridge with her dear friends, cooking for her family, the Ohio State Buckeyes, playing Yahtzee, sitting by the lake, and spending time with her grandkids whom she adored.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Strahm, and granddaughter, Erica Schroeder. She is survived by her six children, twelve grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and her dog, Lacey.
