Theodora Todd passed peacefully in her home in Moody, Tx on 9/22/2026.

Visitation will be held 6:00pm-8:00pm Saturday 9/26/26 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home in Woodway,Tx. Services will be held 3:00pm Sunday 9/27/26 at First Methodist Church of Moody in Moody, Tx

Born 3/12/1958 in Reykjavik Iceland to her father Sveinn Thormodsson and mother Dagfridur Petursdottir

She married the love of her life, Robert Todd, on 5/17/1975 in Reykjavik, Iceland. Shortly after, she moved to Texas.

Graduated from Temple College in 1998 with Associate of Applied Science degree

Employed at Texas Instruments in Temple, Tx for 24 years where she made many life long friends.

She then worked at Solectron in Austin, Tx which later was bought out by Flextronics for 23 years until she retired in 2021 where she made many more life long friends.

She enjoyed going to church at First Methodist Church of Moody, volunteering at the Moody First Methodist Food Pantry, camping, fishing, going to the beach, knitting Icelandic wool hats, traveling, working outside in the garden, tending to chickens and spending time with grandkids and their activities like painting, puzzles, baking and attending their sporting events.

While she’s very proud of her Icelandic heritage she was also proud to become a US citizen in 2000.

Preceded in death by husband of 46 years Robert Todd, and her parents Sveinn Thormodsson and Dagfridur Petursdottir.

Survived by siblings Alda Sigurdardottir and husband Bodvar, Sveiney Sveinsdottir and husband Karl, Thormodur Sveinsson and wife Linda Sue, Bragi Sveinsson, Kristin Sveinsdottir Strickland and husband Tom, Sigridur Sveinsdottir Steria and husband John, Hordur Sveinsson and companion Helga, daughter Dorothy Sanders and husband Sean, son Ryan Todd and wife Crystal, grandchildren Caitlyn Ashley and husband Chris, Bryant Sanders, Addyson Todd, Tyler Sanders, great grandchildren Kynzleigh Ashley and Kayson Ashley, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be grandkids Caitlyn Ashley, Bryant Sanders, Addyson Todd, Tyler Sanders, great grandkids Kynzleigh Ashley and Kayson Ashley
