Todd Allen Welch

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Todd Allen Welch, who left us peacefully on Thursday, June 25, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born on April 29, 1965, in Louisville, Kentucky, Todd was a son of William and Barbara Welch. He lived a life filled with love, laughter, and endless devotion to those around him.

In his search for opportunity, Todd ventured to Waco while visiting his mother, where he began to build a remarkable career as a general manager. His leadership graced several beloved local stores, including Old Navy, Best Buy, Lowe's, Home Depot, Ross, and CVS. Todd took great pride in his work, and his charismatic demeanor enriched the lives of colleagues and customers alike. He was not just a manager; he was a mentor, always encouraging the youth to pursue their dreams and strive for greatness.

Outside of work, Todd delighted in the simple joys of life. He was an avid basketball fan, a devoted watcher of Judge Judy, and a frequent visitor to the Indiana casinos with friends. Todd also held a special place in his heart for his participation in Easterseals alongside his son Austin, a cause that meant the world to him and reflected his deep commitment to family and community. His infectious spirit and friendly nature drew people to him, leaving a lasting impression on all who crossed his path.

Todd is preceded in death by his beloved parents, William Welch and Barbara Goben Welch, and his sister Jennifer Welch. He is cherished by his wife, Silvia Torres Welch, and his three children: Jarrett Allen Welch, William Austin Welch, and Nataly Marie Welch. He will also be lovingly remembered by his granddaughter, Elodie Welch, and his siblings, Bill Welch (and wife Susan), Pam Pevler (and husband Barry), and Wendy Irvin (and partner), dear long time friend, Kevin Dirk, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. The family extends special gratitude to Todd's sister-in-law, Lorena Chavez, for her unwavering support during his illness.

Funeral services to honor Todd’s life will be 2pm, Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home. A time of visitation with the family will begin at 1pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial donations be made to help offset final expenses.

While Todd may have departed from this world, his spirit, laughter, and uplifting words will forever echo in our hearts. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
