Tommy Clarence Derrick

Tommy Clarence Derrick, age 70, passed away peacefully at his home on June 4, 2025, surrounded by family. Tommy was born in Waco, Texas, to Clarence “Boy” Derrick and Minnie Mae Marshall Derrick on October 19,1954.

Tommy is preceded in death by his mom and dad; sister, Bonnie Sue Sandhoff and husband, Dub; brother, Charles Harvey Derrick “Poochie”; and other family members including his daughters’ mom, Suzanne Pitcher Derrick “Suzie”. Tommy is survived by his wife, Patricia Sue Derrick of Waco; daughter, Amy Derrick, of Waco; daughter, Kristi Ziegelt and husband, Kyle, of Lorena; son, Patrick Freyer and wife, Erin, of Rogers, Arkansas; daughter, Aimee Freyer White and husband, Brandon, of Dripping Springs; brother, Doyle Gribble, of Otto; sister, Linda Derrick, of Woodway; grandchildren, Konner Ziegelt, Chloe White, Kameron Ziegelt, and Danielle White; beloved dog, BoJangles “BJ”; nieces, Debra Adamek, Beth Derrick Davis and husband, Eric, and Evelyn Cervenka; nephews, Kenneth Sandhoff and wife, Kim, Ronnie Sandhoff, and Charles Derrick and wife, Dawn; as well as many other family members and close friends, including the Pitcher family from his previous marriage.
