Troy James Long, Sr.

Troy James Long Sr., 85, of Lubbock, Texas passed away Friday, February 4, 2022.  Troy was born January 12, 1937 in Paris, Texas to Mary Elizabeth and C. D. Long.

Troy joined the army when he was 18 years old then later went to Texas State Technical College for Horticulture.  He loved working with flowers, wood working and just tinkering with stuff.

Troy is survived by his 3 children:  Katherine Glenn of Temple,  Troy “James” Long Jr, of Austin, and Jenny McLaughlin, of Lubbock.  5 grandchildren:  Tabitha Morris, Mialissa Glenn, Kaleb Long, Keely Long, and Seth McLaughlin and 5 great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held March 5, 2022 1:00pm at Grace Garden Funeral Home in Woodway, Texas
