Virginia Timmons Liddicoat, lovingly known as Ginnie, of Waco passed away Friday, May 1, 2026. Her memorial service will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at Crestview Church of Christ with Minister Scott Talley officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at Crestview Church of Christ.

Virginia was born March 4, 1925 in Prairie Hill, Texas to Emerson and Tommie Timmons.

She graduated from Prairie Hill High School. After graduation she attended 4C Business College in Waco. She then worked as a personnel manager at Sears for 21 years. After leaving Sears, she dedicated her life to her church and her family, working at Crestview Church part time.

Virginia and her loving husband of 71 years were instrumental in starting the Community Care Ministry at Crestview Church of Christ. The Liddicoat Family Food Pantry was named in honor of their family, who began this outreach.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney.

She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Reid and husband, Joe, of Waco, and son, Rod Liddicoat and wife, Brenda, of Waco, Texas; grandchildren, Mike Shelley and wife, Kris, Tonya Smith and husband, Steve, Melissa Liddicoat Blaisdell, and James Reid and wife, Amanda; great-grandchildren, Jordan Smith and wife, Becca, Aidan Shelley, Sidney Walnsley and husband, Christian, Ava Schwartz and husband, Preston, Adelyn Reid, Jackson Reid, and Henry Blaisdell; six great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
