William “Blake” Driskell, cherished son, beloved brother, devoted cousin and loyal friend, left this world too soon on September 23, 2026, at the age of 22. Born on November 7, 2003, in Waco, Texas, Blake was loved and treasured by his parents, Robyn and Will Driskell of Waco. He grew up surrounded by love, faith and laughter. He brought happiness toeveryone fortunate enough to know him.

Blake graduated from Midway High School in 2022 and Baylor University in 2026. He was pursuing his Master of Accountancyat Baylor University. His family celebrated with him over his full-time job offer from Ernst & Young in Houston.

Blake loved all sports and was a natural athlete – from playing basketball and golf to his unwavering support of the Baylor Bears, Houston Astros, and Houston Texans. He never missed an opportunity to go to a Houston Astros playoff or World Series game. One of his many cherished memories was attending Baylor’s Men’s Basketball National Championship and the Big 12 Football Championship in 2021. He could always be found cheering passionately for his teams.

He was an active member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity at Baylor, forming lasting deep bonds with his pledge class and fraternity brothers. In sharing memories of Blake, his pledge class and KSig brothers described him as a true and loyal friend, an incredibly hard worker, and someone who was always there for others. His brothers remembered his quick wit and perfectly delivered one-liners, his unique food palate (consisting of chicken tenders, fries, and Skittles), and his exceptional athletic ability. Above all, they remembered a friend who was loyal, dependable, and always willing to show up for the people he cared about. Blake’s quiet demeanor and steadfast loyalty will be profoundly missed by all who knew him. 

Blake was a devoted big brother to his sister, Rachel. He shared a special connection with his cousins, Marshall, Matthew, and Hailey, who all attended Baylor together. He is survived by his loving parents, Robyn and Will Driskell, his adoring sister, Rachel, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins, including Michael and Kara McDuffie, Marshall and Megan McDuffie, Matthew McDuffie, Stacie Crowson, and Hailey Crowson, Susie and Greg Bowers, Paul and Kate Bowers, Greg and Hannah Bowers. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Clint and Susan Bateman, and Mattie Jean and Bill Driskell, and his aunt, Nancy Driskell.

In honor of Blake's life, the family will a hold a memorial service on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at 4 p.m. at Baylor University's Hurd Welcome Center. The Blake Driskell Endowed Scholarship at Baylor University has been established in his honor.
