Al Humphrey, 71, of Hewitt died Sunday March 22, 2020 after a long fight with cancer.
Born in 1949 out of Monrovia, California, he was the baby boy of the late Walton and Gerlene Humphrey. In 1966, he decided to join the Marine Corps where he served 4 years during the Vietnam War. By that time, he had already met the love of his life, Susie. Al and Susie would go on to live a fulfilling life together and have two children.
Al enjoyed life to the fullest and he was the best family man anyone could ever ask for. You would always catch him doing something in that garage of his or find him at the nearest campground with his family. Al thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his loved ones. Whether it was spending quality time with his grandkids or playing with his train collection with his great grandkids.
Al is survived by his loving wife Brenda Sue Humphrey, son Ethan Humphrey and wife Everlyn Humphrey, and daughter Tamera Kline and companion Gary Clark, by his grandkids Alysha Humphrey and wife Jessica Humphrey, Amanda Bunch and husband Anthony Bunch, George Harn and companion Holly Dean, and Ashleigh Humphrey, by his great grandchildren, Aubrey, Alyssa, and Logan Bunch, Ayden Humphrey, and Raylan Harn.
To the man we called Paw Paw, Pop, Poppy, and Dad, you will forever be loved and missed. Until we meet at those pearly gates…
