Angela Dawn Cross Kelley

Our dearest Angela Dawn Cross Kelley passed away July 5, 2021, with her family by her side. She was 58 years old.

Services will take place Saturday July 10, 2021 at Grace Gardens Funeral home. Visitation will start at 1pm, and funeral will begin at 2pm.

Angela “Angel” was born in Temple, TX on May 3, 1963 to Jerry and Nancy Cross. She graduated high school in 1981 in Robinson, Texas where she would eventually have her own three children; who were the light of her life - Dalton, Tanner, and Kamber Kelley.  Angel also owned and operated her own company, Angela’s Dance Studio, for over 30 years where she shared her love and passion of dance with many children and family members.

Anyone who knows Angel will tell you that she was a “free-spirit” who loved to be surrounded by good music, even better company, and the beach. She was a caretaker in all aspects of the word, as she loved tending to her plants, pet-sitting for many families, and caring for the elderly. She was most certainly cut out for these roles as she gave the best hugs and kisses. She had a comfort that many came to know and love.

Angel is survived by her parents, Jerry and Nancy Cross. Her three children, Dalton, Tanner, and Kamber Kelley. Her two brothers Bryan and Justin Cross, and her sisters-in-love, Darla Cross and Felicia Gregory. She is also survived by her nephews and nieces, Zachary, Ty, Jarrell, Cheyenne Gregory and, Abbe Cross.

Angel is preceeded in death by her maternal grandparents -John and Allene Ledger and paternal grandparents - Jarrell and Jo Cross.

To celebrate her memory and love for the beach, we are asking for friends and family to wear beachy/hawaiian attire on July 10, 2021. Of course formal wear is welcomed too but, our mom would love everybody to participate.
