Barba (Holdbrook) Muse

Barba Muse of Groesbeck, formerly of Waco, passed away suddenly Saturday night, July 24, 2021, at the age of 74.  Visitation will be 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday, July 28, 2021, in the Chape of Grace Gardens Funeral Home, 8220 Woodway Dr.  The funeral will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, July 29, 2021, in the Chapel of Grace Gardens Funeral Home with Rev. Roy Marshall officiating.  Interment will follow in Waco Memorial Park.

Barba was born March 21, 1947, in Waco, Texas, the daughter of the late James Leslie and Francis Marie (Nunn) Holdbrook and was 1965 graduate of University High School. On December 22, 1966, she married Jack Eugene Muse at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Waco.

Survivors include her husband of fifty-four years, Jack Muse; a daughter, Amy Eubank and husband Jimmy; a brother, James Holdbrook and wife Mindy; three sisters, Jackie Ivie and husband Sammie, Jeanie Moss and husband Dwain, Gayle Terry and husband George; a granddaughter, Ashley Eubank and a grandson, Brandon Eubank and a host of family and friends.

For those desiring, the family has suggested First Baptist Church of Hewitt, for memorial contributions.
