Brin Chandler, 35, was born on Tuesday, March 11, 1986 in Houston, Texas. His life ended on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 in Waco, Texas. A gathering to remember Brin will be at Clifton House, 2600 Austin Ave., Waco, Texas, on Saturday, December 11 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Brin had Covid in 2020 before vaccines were available. His death may have been related to post Covid complications. The family is requesting that masks be worn and social distancing be observed at Clifton House.

Brin moved with his family to Waco in 1989.  He graduated from Midway ISD in 2004. He was in NHS, a member of the Midway drumline and played goalie for the soccer team. He was a member of the drumline in the Spirit of Houston Band at the University of Houston where he had academic and engineering scholarships. He studied commercial aviation at TSCT. One of his proudest achievements was attaining his pilot’s license. He loved flying and was a member of AOPA.

Brin had a passion for soccer, the Premiere League, and Manchester United. He loved his cats, enjoyed cooking, and telling dad jokes. He and his father had an ongoing game of who could find the worst dad joke. Then they would share them with anyone who would listen! He was frequently in contact with his family and fiancée sharing his daily experiences and love of things that made life important to him. He filled his life with people and friends he cared deeply for.

At the time of his death he was a contract worker for Federal Express. He enjoyed flying drones for Advanced Aerial Inspection Resources and working for the University of Michigan Institute For Social Research.

Brin was preceded in death by his godmother Holly Williams of Houston, his grandparents Brawley and Frances King of Houston, his grandmother Fay Chandler McMillian of Waco, and his uncle Scooter Chandler of Waco.

He is survived by his parents, Kathy and Byron Chandler of Waco, his sister Ursula Woessner and two beloved nephews. He is survived by his fiancée, Brandi Sweet of Hawkins, Texas.

He is survived by his aunt Cindy Boen of Lorena and cousins Stacia Chandler of Dallas, Wil and Alex Chandler of Waco, and Shayna and Andy Huegel of Georgetown and their families. His aunt and uncle, Carolyn and Ronald Davey of McAllen and cousins Kristina Lopez of McAllen and Stephen and Frenchie Davey of Moody, Alabama and their families.

He will be greatly missed.
