Clifford Lee Hagy, Jr.

Clifford Lee Hagy, Jr passed away Sunday, November 5, 2023, at Stoney Brook in Hewitt, Tx. A graveside service will take place on Monday, November 13, 2023, at 11 AM at Oakwood Cemetery in Waco, Texas with Pastor Scott Rhodes officiating. 

Cliff was born December 6, 1941, in San Antonio, Texas too Lillian and Clifford Hagy, Sr. 

Cliff was the store manager of Sears Waco and managed Sears stores in several other states throughout the years. Cliff met the love of his life, Jane Carol Ackermann, while managing the Sears in Waco, TX in 1973 and the two finally married on March 23, 1996, in Waco, TX. 

Upon retiring from Sears, Cliff continued his love for cars and worked at several car dealerships around the Central Texas area. 

Cliff loved traveling around the country to see family and friends, Lady Bears basketball, volunteering at Habitat for Humanity, and spending time with his family.

Cliff is survived by his brother, Lee Hagy; Sister, Pat Bunch; Daughter, Barbara and husband, Jim Hopps and son Paul and wife, Kim Elkjer; 4 grandchildren Michael Lamb, Kristin Boone, Erin Elkjer and Brooke Elkjer as well as 2 great grandchildren, Caden and Mayson. 

Cliff is preceded in death by his parents Cliff, Sr. and Lillian and the love of his life, Jane Carol (Ackermann).
