David Malcom Brown

Waco, Texas

David Brown, 69, of Waco, passed away Friday, February 5, 2021 due to complications from Covid-19.  A Funeral Service will be 10:00 am Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home with Pastor Bryan Patrick officiating.  Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.  A Visitation with the family will be 5:30-7:30 pm, Monday, February 8, 2021 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home.  Face masks and social distancing will be required.  The Service will be streamed on Grace Gardens Facebook page if you wish to view online.

David was born February 2, 1952 in Waco, Texas to Thurman and Dollie Brown, the youngest of two sons.  He retired from Allergan in 2014.

In 1971, he married the love of his life, Sandie Lutz.  The couple had two sons, whom David loved dearly.  David was an avid outdoors man, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and traveling.  His favorite travel partner was his wife.  They were always looking for the next adventure. He loved being with friends and family above all else.  Nowhere was as special as a grandchild’s game.

Preceded in death by parents; brother, Larry; brother-in-law, Barry.

Left to cherish his memories are his beloved wife of 49 years; sons, Shelby and wife Kara, Chad and wife Leann; fur-daughter, Maggie May; grandchildren, Parker, Westin, Trevor, Campbell (CC), Lanee, and Kyndal; mother-in-law, Willie Lutz; brother-in-law, Larry Shumake and wife Linda; Sisters-in-law, Dianne Byford, and Wendy Brown; nieces and nephews, Brandon Shumake, Braylon and wife Chantal Byford, Josh Brown and wife Larisa, Adam Brown and wife Laura; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
