Eric went to be in Heaven doing what he loves most and that was being with his children and wife having fun and just watching over them. His sudden and quick passing at Lake Belton, Temple Lake Park, is only a confirmation that our Lovely Eric is in Heaven smiling down on us and watching over us. Eric was 31 years old and had such a lovely heart and spirit. Eric leaves behind 4 children Ellijah Blue (18yrs), Sarah Joyce (13yrs), Matthew Isaiah (6 yrs) and Alexa Grace (3 yrs). Although his 2 older children were his step-children, he loved them as if they were his own. Eric just had that kind of heart. He cared for all the children with all his heart equally and had a special bond with each of them.

Eric met his wife in San Diego on August 21st of 2010 and moved to be with his wife on September 5th of 2010. After only meeting his wife on August 21st and knowing her for 5 days she asked him if he would want to move with her and he said yes. The most beautiful life was built from the first day they met. Eric enjoyed being with his wife and every moment spent together was a blessing. Many fun and loving memories were made, and the smile Eric had every time she would see him was the sweetest smile in the world and would just make her heart melt and she would smile back.  The hugs, kisses, funny moments, romantic moments, loving moments, learning moments, and growing moments will always be cherished.

Eric and his wife married on November 27th of 2014. Initially the date of marriage was to be the 11th of November as Eric and his wife would always say "Happy 11:11" every single time the time showed 11:11am or pm to show a sign of how much love there was. However, he wanted to change the date to November 27th so his Mom, Dad and Brother could attend the small family wedding at Hewitt Park.  The date was proudly changed. He loved his Mom, Dad and Brother so much he didn't want them to miss a special moment. Eric shared many loving memories with his wife about his Mom, Dad and Brother. They were his inspiration for being a great Father, Husband and Person.

Eric lived in Moody Texas with his wife and children in a home Eric proudly purchased 2 years ago. Eric worked his way up with his career and became a General Manager. Eric worked even harder for his goals and became an independent worker working from home for his mom and with his mom as a general contractor assistant. He was on a mission to never quit and build his dream with his wife and family. Not only did he work from home, he bought a big shed he was so proud of for his dogs he loved. Eric also bought another shed he worked hard for just for his wife and him to have their tools and achieved the greatest prize by working hard. Eric and his wife also purchased land with a mobile home. His dreams came true he said. He had everything he ever wanted which was his wife, his children, his parents living here, his home, his pets, his chickens and ducks, and his land. He loved everything about his life. Every passing moment we will miss you Eric so much but with this being said, every passing moment we will strive harder to keep Eric's loving spirit alive. Eric would have wanted for each and everyone of us to Love one another and never give up. In loving memory of our Eric Johnson.
