Eugenia Lupu

Eugenia Lupu, our beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away peacefully at Providence Hospital on July 3, 2021. Visitation will be held at Grace Gardens Funeral home at 10:30, on July 9th with funeral services immediately following. Burial will take place at Waco Memorial Park.
Eugenia was born on December 28, 1929 in Dersca, Romania and was united in marriage to Mihai Lupu in January 1953.   From an early age Eugenia had a passion for art and music with a desire to pass that onto others. She enjoyed singing in the church choir and playing her mandolin.  While in Romania, she worked at the local hospital while raising her four children together with her husband, Mihai, to whom she was married to for 68 years. She was easy to get along with and had many lifelong relationships with her friends. She also enjoyed travelling, needle work, and watching tennis matches. She took pleasure in cooking for her family and they will always remember Sunday lunches at grandma’s.
Eugenia is preceded in death by her parents, Nicolai and Maria Badragan, husband, Mihai “Mike” Lupu, daughter in law Mariana Lupu, four brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by one sister, Viorica Vacareanu, four children, Angelica Vladut,  Eugen Lupu,  Doina and husband Dumitru Tiprigan, and Romica and wife Veronica Lupu. Seven grandchildren, and eighteen great grandchildren.
The family is especially grateful to Mila Jude for the compassionate care and genuine love she provided over the past two years.
