Helen Marie (Tomchesson) Hays

Helen Marie Hays, 88, of Robinson, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 30, 2022.  A Visitation with her family will be 2-4 pm, Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home.

Helen Marie Tomchesson was born October 10, 1933 to Pete and Anne Tomchesson in Bremond, Texas.  Helen graduated from Marlin High School and attended Sam Houston State University. She married Bryan Hays and the couple had four sons.  She was a proud military wife, traveling throughout the world supporting her husband’s career in the Air Force.  The couple retired in 1975 and moved to Lubbock, Texas, eventually settling in the Waco area.  Helen worked in many offices and clinics as a receptionist and administrative assistant.

Helen was a gifted seamstress and gardener.  She mostly loved her time as a mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bryan; brothers, Teddy and Albin.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Philip, Matt, Paul, Sean and wife Michelle; grandchildren, Bryan, Christopher, Stephen, Jennifer, Jessi; fur baby, pepper; and many nieces and nephews.
