Obituary

Kenneth Keith Raveill departed this life on 5/1/2023 for eternal rest with his Heavenly Father. Ken was a lifelong member of the Community of Christ Church and had a deep love for the Urantia Book.

Born on 8/16/1926 to Edgar Raveill and Johnnie McPherson Raveill in Warrensburg, Missouri, he was the oldest of 3 sons. He went on to graduate from UCLA after serving in WW II in the Air Force. With a degree in Film, he had a distinguished career as a professional photographer and his work has been used in many books, pamphlets and tour guides. He travelled to all 50 states though he resided in Missouri until the last 6 years when he made his home in McGregor, TX.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Johnnie (McPherson) Raveill, brother Jack Raveill, his wife Zona Raveill, and his son Paul Raveill.
 

He is survived by his brother Max Raveill, his daughter, Nancy Herrera and husband John, daughter-in- law Renee Raveill, stepdaughter Gayla Chaney and husband Phil, stepdaughter Zoe Haynes and stepson, Dennis Cordell. Eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews. He was dearly loved as “Grandpa Ken.”
