Kerry grew up in Robinson, Tx and graduated from Robinson high School in 1983. During Kerry’s school years he was very active in sports. He played baseball as a young boy. As he got older he played football, baseball and participated in track. Running track was the highlight of his high school years. He took home many awards for his achievements in track. He won state title in Cross Country 2 years in a row. There were many times that Kerry would run 20 miles a day to keep himself ready and in shape.
Kerry met the love of his life, Deborah Pagach, in 1988. He had two wonderful children, Britney and Whitney, at the time they met. These girls were his life and he would do anything for them. Kerry and Deborah married on July 27, 1991 and “Tyler” came along in October 1991. Together, Kerry and Deborah raised their children to become the wonderful people they are today. Kerry was a great dad and always made sure that his family was taken care of. Family always came first.
Kerry worked for Mission Uniform from 1988 to 2007. He started from the bottom as a driver and worked his way up to managing the plant. He was a mentor to all of the people that worked under him and they all had the upmost respect for Kerry. He never met a stranger and became friends with people all over Waco while working at Mission. Kerry worked the last 11 years at Allstate Insurance. As with anything Kerry did, he excelled at this job and could outsell anyone on insurance.
Kerry was an outdoorsman from the time he was a kid until sweet Jesus called him home. He enjoyed going out to the “farm” in Moody. He loved being out there and enjoying hunting, shooting his guns and metal detecting. He found many Indian artifacts and other historical memorabilia and would research each piece. He loved finding out the history. As for anyone that knew Kerry, if he found an interest in something he would learn every single thing he could about it until he had it mastered. He put 100% into everything he did and did not settle until he obtained perfection of it.
Kerry was the greatest husband, father, “Paw-Paw” and friend. As a husband, he always put his wife Deborah before himself. As a father, he would do anything for his kids. He was so proud of all of them and all that they had accomplished so far in life. He was the best “PaPa” you could ever hope to find. He loved Brayden and Brooklyn with all his heart. He loved picking them up from daycare and taking them on his scooter for a ride. Both of them loved the scooter rides with PaPa. As a friend, Kerry was the best friend anyone could have. He enjoyed spending time doing the “outdoors” things with them. He was always there if they needed him. Kerry had many lifetime long friends that he dearly loved.
Kerry was a bit of a prankster. He took great pride in finding different things he could do to people to aggravate them. He loved pulling tricks on his coworkers and his friends. You never knew what he may have up his sleeve.
Kerry was a strong Christian and it was very important to him to make sure that he shared Jesus with everyone. He wanted to make sure that he gave everyone the opportunity to know about Jesus and what it takes to go to heaven. He and his wife had many conversations about their faith and how important God was not only in their lives and their family’s lives but everyone else around them. Kerry looked forward to the day when God would say”Welcome in thy good and faithful servant.” He was not afraid. He loved the Lord with all of his heart, soul, mind and strength.

We also want to thank all of our family and friends for the outpouring of prayers during this time. As a family we could not even begin to imagine going through all of this without everyone praying and knowing that God was right there with us. Kerry is now home with Jesus.
