Patsy was born in Abernathy, Texas, grew up in McLean, Texas, and spent much of her life moving between McLean, Amarillo, and Lubbock, Texas. She completed her Master of Physical Therapy Degree at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 1999, and went on to complete a Residency Program in Neurology in 2002. Patsy practiced Physical Therapy and provided Home Health Physical Therapy services throughout her career until her retirement in October, 2020.

Patsy had a love for travel and exploration, and in fact met her husband Lea while he was on a trip to Peru with his mate Ian Williamson, and she with her daughter, in 2005. They knew it was meant to be when Lea threw a stone at Patsy (a tradition of the boys of the Peruvian Amantani Island) - the perfect start to a beautiful life together. She and Lea enjoyed a long distance relationship with her many visits to New Zealand, until he was able to join her here in the US. She enjoyed kayaking, bike rides, woodworking, needle-felting, visiting the casino, traveling with Lea, and spending any time she could with her granddaughter. She was a sweet, beautiful, kind-hearted, giving soul; a wonderful wife, mother, Nana, sister, sister-in-law, and friend to many. She will forever be missed.

Patsy requested that memorials be made to your local fuzzy friend no-kill shelter.
