"Ralph" Charles Kracy

Hewitt, Texas

Charles Ralph Kracy, 78, of Hewitt, passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2021 after a courageous battle with a long illness.  A Celebration of His Life will be 10:30 am, Monday, July 26th at Moldbreakers Fellowship.

Ralph was born March 27, 1943 to Ada Lucille Kukuraisas and John Clayton Kracy in Terre Haute, Indiana.  He was raised in Stauton, Indiana where he attended Stauton High School.  After a semester at Indiana State University, he chose to join the United States Air Force, serving for four years.  He came to James Connally Air Force Base in Waco, Texas where he met the love of his life, Ruby Miller.  The couple married in 1964.  After his time in the Air Force, he bought and sold classic cars at his car lot, Valley Classics.  Which let to his dabbling in hot rods.  He was an entrepreneur at heart, never met a stranger, and always made people smile and laugh.  He enjoyed bingo, car shows, and casinos.

Preceded in death by his mother, father, step-father and brother.

He will be greatly missed by his wife of 59 years; children, Mark and wife Ellen, Rhonda Ortiz, Chuck and wife Misty, James and wife Samantha, John and wife Carla; sister, Joyce Steiger; brother-in-law C.A. Miller & wife Kathy; grandchildren, Julie, Matthew, Joseph, Jennifer, Samantha, Mark, Derrick, Jeremy, Connor, Jacob, Marshall, Clayton, Michael; six great grandchildren.
