Obituary

Ronald “Ronnie” Lee Watkins, of Waco, passed away Monday, September 5th, 2016 in Flower Mound, Texas, where he had been seeking cancer treatment. A “Final Toast’ will be held in his honor at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 30th, 2022 at Waco Memorial Cemetery. Ronnie was born January 10th, 1949, in Waco, to Rayford and Patsy Watkins.  He married Marian Otter October 3rd, 1973, in Waco.  Ronnie loved his “dang ol’ Baylor Bears”, fishing, family, friends, BBQ, and a cold drink. He is survived by his son, Jason Watkins; daughter, Susanne Crider and husband, Chris; son, Brad Watkins and Krystal; grandchildren, Lilli Crider, Noah Watkins, Bella Claire Watkins, and Evan Crider. Ronnie is preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Marian; Mom and Dad.
