Vivian Louise Walker Kerby found joy in life from the time she was born July 13, 1954 in Kaufman, Texas to her last day September 11, 2021. Her life was full of adventures, from being named Rodeo Queen in her younger days, to spending her later life traveling throughout the Pacific Northwest enjoying the beautiful scenery. Vivian’s careers included floral arrangement, state service, and working to support public schools, which she did for many years, enjoying working with students others may view as a challenge.
When she wasn’t on the job, Vivian had no shortage of hobbies that she enjoyed. She loved to read, research genealogy and family history, create art decor, and spend time with her kids and grandkids. She absolutely loved having huge holiday celebrations and everything that came with that- from cooking to shopping for gifts. She wasn’t called the “Toy Grandma” for nothing!
Vivian is being met in heaven by her loving father, Samuel Herbert Richman. Those blessed to be able to continue to celebrate her memory are her husband, Shane Kerby, her siblings Mary Watt, Kenneth Richman, and Frances Jarrell, her children Jeremy Walker and wife Anjie, Cody Walker and wife Kerri, Jodie Delgado and husband Leo, Brody Walker and wife Lizzy, and Kevin Kerby, and her grandchildren, Jayden Walker, Evan Leatherwood, Luke Walker, Jake Walker, and Wes Walker. Memorial services will be held Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home at 2:00 pm with her nephew Michael Watt officiating.
